Merino Wool. Bikinis. Merino Wool bikinis?

 

Yes. Inspired by AllBirds, a carbon-neutral and eco-friendly shoe company, put on the map by their merino wool shoes that were named  "the world's most comfortable shoe," my 16-year-old self and my dad dreamed of exploring the world of unique textiles and venturing into creating something similarly groundbreaking.

 

All of our suits are handmade on a made to order basis, meaning there are no "unsellables" we have to throw out and each piece receives a loving home. Unethical treatment of workers in the fashion world is a modern-day crisis and we currently have a college student designer and her small team of seamstresses working to create our suits. It doesn't get much smaller than that.

It is also biodegradable, organic, and environmentally-friendly. Most often sourced from Australia and New Zealand, the physical properties superfine merino wool has is remarkable. It's hypoallergenic, has antimicrobial qualities (odor resistant,) wrinkle-resistant, thermoregulating, quick-drying (like super quick,) UV resistant, and 6 times stronger than cotton.
